On Thursday at the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin revoked the "endangerment finding," the scientific rule that allowed the government to regulate greenhouse gases.

The president claims the move will save people $1.3 trillion dollars and cut the cost of new cars.

Trump said the goal is to end "unnecessary" standards on engines through 2027 and beyond.
