The court struck down Trump’s far reaching global tariffs in a 6-3 decision Friday, ruling that he did not have authority under a 1977 emergency economic powers law. The president responded to the loss by signing a new executive order imposing 10 percent tariffs on all countries under a different statute, adding major confusion for business owners.
