From DW News.
Countries dependent on trade with the US are scrambling to figure out how Donald Trump’s new tariff regime will affect them. The US president announced on Saturday he was raising a new levy on imports from 10 to 15 percent.
Trump introduced that after the US Supreme Court ruled most of his previous trade tariffs were imposed illegally. Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz has warned that constant uncertainty about tariffs were "the biggest poison for the economies of Europe and the US." Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has urged Trump to treat all countries equally, saying Brazil did not want a new Cold War.
