Images show a United States army convoy consisting of dozens of trucks loaded with armoured vehicles and prefabricated structures on a road linking the Qasrak base in Hasakeh province to the border with Iraq. A Kurdish official told AFP on Monday that the US began withdrawing from the Qasrak base, a major base in a sliver of northeastern Syria still under the control of Kurdish forces.
