Scientists at the University of Rochester just designed a “superhydrophobic” metal. That means even when forced underwater or damaged the little metal test tubes wouldn’t sink!

Researchers have created metal that repels water before, but none that could be scaled up. This version uses a slightly different, scalable method bringing us one step closer to unsinkable ships!
