New York City was shut down Monday by a historic cyclone that dumped almost two feet of snow. The city’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani recruited citizen shovelers to clear the streets and sidewalks. Inside Edition found a team of snow shovelers cleaning streets in Manhattan. The recent snow in New York is wet, dense and heavy. It is hard work to clear, which is why it is known as "heart attack snow." Cardiologist Dr. Varinder Singh told Inside Edition how to shovel snow safely.
