EPISODE SOURCES & CITATIONS: https://www.climatetownproductions.com/youtube/suvs-in-america

If you want to read a book on the rise of SUVs in the US, you really should get a copy of High & Mighty by Keith Bradsher. This is the book everyone references when they talk about the history of SUVs, it was the primary source for this episode, and we honestly don’t know what we’d know without it. If you see Keith out on the street, tell him thank you, if he seems like he’d like that. Not if he’s eating or swimming or something. Either tell him thank you or leave him alone, use your best judgement. Here’s his NY Times profile: https://www.nytimes.com/by/keith-bradsher
