Loincloth-clad men brave the cold rain in Yotsukaido, Japan, forming pyramids and hurling each other into a muddy field, in tussles to offer prayers for a bountiful harvest. It’s all part of a tradition with over 200 years of history that locals refer to as the Warabi Hadaka Matsuri, which roughly translates to the “Warabi Naked Festival.”
