Canada, South Korea sign pact to share classified military intelligence

Canada and South Korea have signed an agreement to share and safeguard classified military and defence information.

The deal, signed Wednesday, is aimed at strengthening cooperation as global security challenges intensify.

Officials say it will enhance collaboration on procurement, industrial security and joint research initiatives.

"Establishing a secure framework to exchange sensitive information between our two countries," Defence Minister Anita Anand said.
