This brand new telescope is working with James Webb but showing us something totally new!
It has a wider field of view than Webb thanks to its 18 detectors, but a much smaller mirror, meaning it won’t be as detailed as Webb’s images…
That’s why the two will work together, with Webb seeing deeper and further back in time, and Roman seeing MORE of the sky, catching new events and telling Webb where to study more closely!
