The United States and Israel launched military strikes against Iran on Feb. 28, according to reports from Reuters, the New York Times and other outlets.

The Pentagon declined to immediately comment.

"The State of Israel launched a pre-emptive attack against Iran to remove threats to the State of Israel," Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz said, according to Reuters.
