The Tomahawk Block V is US-built long-range cruise missile which is launched from naval ships or submarines and used in land attack warfare. They are designed to fly at extremely low altitudes at high subsonic speeds. The latest versions of the missile (Block IV and Block V) can be rerouted to a different target in mid-flight and loiter over a target area.
