Inside a small Beirut workshop, volunteers turn collected waste into Ramadan decorations displayed across the city’s streets.
 
Imane Assaf, the founder of Ahla Fawda NGO, which led the initiative with partner groups, said the decorations would be removed after Ramadan, stored and reused next year as part of the project’s focus on sustainability.
