The United States and Israel have launched strikes against Iran, sending columns of smoke rising over Tehran and killing 51 people on a strike in the country’s south. The Islamic republic retaliates with barrages of missiles across the region, with its missile salvo heard in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE, as well as Israel, after Tehran had repeatedly vowed to respond fiercely if attacked.
