The death toll in an Israeli-U.S. strike on a girls’ school in southern Iran rises to at least 40, the state-run IRNA news agency reported. At least 45 others were wounded in the attack in Minab in Iran’s Hormozgan province. Meanwhile, President Trump has urged Iranian citizens to rise up to overthrow the Iranian government. But senior fellow for the Carnegie Endowment Karim Sadjadpour warns: the repressive capacity of the Iranian regime could go a long way toward intimidating citizens away from protesting.
