United Nations chief Antonio Guterres warns that military action in the Middle East risks triggering uncontrollable consequences in the region, after US and Israeli strikes on Iran and retaliatory attacks by Tehran. "Military action carries the risk of igniting a chain of events that no one can control in the most volatile region of the world," Guterres tells an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
