US attack on Iran defended by Trump’s ambassador to the UN: ‘Peace is preserved through strength’

The US’s attacks on Iran were defended during a United Nations emergency meeting by Michael Waltz, a Donald Trump-appointed US ambassador to the UN.

Waltz said that the Iranian regime had "willfully destabilized the world," citing support for terrorist groups in a statement that outlining support for Trump’s strikes on Iran. Among those strikes was one of which that reportedly killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

"Peace is preserved through strength in the face of terror," Waltz said.
