After a joint military operation with the U.S. against Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claims there are “many signs” the country’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei is dead.

U.S. and Israel miliary forces “destroyed the compound of the tyrant Khamenei,” Netanyahu said, noting that other “senior officials” from the Ayatollah’s regime were also “eliminated."

Netanyahu further called on the citizens of Iran to take this “once-in-a-generation opportunity” and “overthrow the regime of horrors that is embittering your lives.”

Khamanei came into power in 1989 – the nation’s second supreme leader – and according to Netanyahu, “dispatched terrorism across the world,” for over three and a half decades.
