President Donald Trump is back in Washington, D.C., as his administration prepares to brief Congress on the joint attacks with Israel on Iran. Two sources briefed on the matter tell NBC that the attack was launched Saturday after months of close coordination with Israel because intelligence showed that the Ayatollah would be at a meeting with several of his deputies. Political reaction on Capitol Hill is mostly breaking along partisan lines with Republicans largely praising the President’s actions and Democrats raising concerns about future fallout.
