Three U.S. fighter jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses during active combat in Iran, Central Command said Monday.

“All six aircrew ejected safely, have been safely recovered, and are in stable condition,” Central Command said in a statement. The incident took place amidst the third day of U.S. and Israeli operations on Iran.
