From Global News.
There’s relief at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport among Canadians who just flew 15 hours to get out of a region at war.
They say the flight was full; one of the few commercial flights to leave Dubai since the war began.
“Everybody was cheering once we landed and there were tears,” says passenger Eve Noga.
The Canadian government says its working to secure charter flights for nearly 1,200 Canadians in the United Arab Emirates, who have asked for help.
Global’s Heidi Petracek reports.
