UK’s chief of defence staff on deployments to the Middle East and UK’s preparedness

The British military deployed four additional Royal Air Force (RAF) Typhoon fighter jets to Qatar on Saturday as the conflict escalates. The aircraft will engage in aerial threats that may be fired towards Gulf nations, according to UK Ministry of Defence. Meanwhile a US B-1 Lancer landed at RAF Fairford, in Gloucestershire, U.K.
