BC woman’s death on Australian beach ruled drowning following dingo attack

From Global News.

A coroner in Queensland has confirmed Canadian traveller Piper James died from drowning while trying to flee an attack by pack of dingoes on an Australian beach.

Friend Brianna Falk, a friend of James’, says the findings bring little comfort, saying "people have asked if it offers me comfort of closure and it does not."

Authorities say eight of the 10 dingoes involved in the attack have since been euthanized after being deemed a public safety risk. Global’s Kylie Stanton reports.
