Iran’s Assembly of Experts has named Mojtaba Khamenei to replace his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as the country’s new supreme leader. That’s according to Iranian state media. It comes as at least eight U.S. service members have died since the conflict with Iran started. Noah Shachtman and Arash Azizi join “The Weekend: Primetime” to discuss the new Supreme leader, the growing speculation that we could see American troops on the ground in Iran, and what it’s like on the ground for civilians in Tehran.
