Iranians in Australia block the road as a bus carrying the remaining members of Iran’s Women’s Asia Cup football team leaves for the airport, after five players claimed asylum in Australia. Five players, including captain Zahra Ghanbari, sought protection after they were branded "traitors" at home for refusing to sing the national anthem, an act seen as a symbol of defiance against the Islamic republic. They escaped the team hotel on Australia’s Gold Coast overnight.
