As the current war in Ukraine enters its fifth year, Ali Velshi reunites with a former refugee who fled Russia’s invasion. Nastya Shpot was just 15 years-old when her family went to Poland to escape danger. In the intervening year, Shpot says she has been inspired by her own journey taking journalists to Ukraine’s frontlines. “I was like, ‘This is my moment, this is something I want to do.’”
