Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is at the center of a firestorm over how she came to hire a fugitive as her personal bodyguard. The bodyguard, who reportedly carried a concealed weapon, was 39-year-old Mike King. He was fatally shot by a SWAT team marksman in the parking lot of a Dallas children’s hospital. Authorities say King, whose real name is Diamon-Mazarre Robinson, was wanted on federal charges of impersonating a police officer and had a criminal record for theft and fraud.
