Sen. Markwayne Mullin faced questions from fellow senators in a confirmation hearing for his nomination to become the Department of Homeland Security secretary on March 18. During Richard Blumenthal’s time, he question Mullin about ICE tactics as well his initial responses to the shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

Good was killed by an ICE agent and Pretti, a pair of Border Patrol agents when DHS’ presence in Minneapolis was increased in January.
