A train collided with an unloaded semi-truck in southern Alberta on Tuesday, and while nobody was injured, experts and police are again calling for heightened safety around the tracks.

One driving expert says overall motorist behaviour has been declining since the COVID-19 pandemic, which can be a bad mix when trains are involved.

And as Global’s Justin Sibbet reports, these worsening driving habits might be the result of motorist entitlement.
