Many Parisians think their city is becoming dirtier and dirtier. An early March survey by Ipsos showed that 44% of voters put cleanliness as a top concern, along with security at 51% and housing at 38%. With the Paris mayoral elections’ second round of balloting taking place on March 22, candidates are making cleaner streets a campaign promise.
