A first-hand account of a Canadian military sniper in Afghanistan

From Global News.

After the terrorist attack in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001, Canada was among the first countries to step up.

More than 40,000 Canadian military personnel became involved in the fight against Al Qaeda and the Taliban. Canadian snipers not only helped secure those men and women on the ground, they broke records for the longest sniper kills in history.

The West Block has a rare sit-down with a former Canadian military sniper who’s penned the first book on first-hand sniper experiences in Afghanistan.
