From AFP News Agency.
Houses in Urgun, eastern Afghanistan, lie in ruins after deadly airstrikes launched by Pakistan. Following the killing of Pakistani paramilitary troops a day earlier, the attack came on the eve of scheduled Qatar-hosted talks between officials from Afghanistan and Pakistan and broke a ceasefire that had brought two days of calm to the border. At least 10 people were killed in the strikes, which Islamabad has said targeted a militant group linked to the Pakistani Taliban.
