After Bill Clinton testimony in Epstein deposition, Republicans react to alleged White House visits

From USA TODAY.

Former President Bill Clinton gave testimony in a deposition related to the investigation of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Feb. 27, in Chappaqua, New York. After the hearing, Republican members of Congress held a press conference to discuss Clinton’s testimony and when the videos and transcripts from depositions of Bill and Hillary Clinton would become public.

The former president is among many prominent people in politics, finance, academia and business who have appeared in the files — both before and after Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to prostitution charges.

Bill Clinton’s deposition will mark the first time Congress forced a former president to testify, although presidents occasionally answered questions voluntarily.
