Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said that her government will put forth back-to-work legislation to end the province-wide teachers’ strike on Monday.

Roughly 750,000 students have been out of class since Oct. 6 after the teachers’ union and the province failed to work out a new agreement addressing pay and classroom sizes.
