The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam says it has uncovered a new painting by Rembrandt, using advanced scanning technology and stylistic analysis to confirm it was crafted by the Dutch master. The 1633 work, entitled "Vision of Zacharias in the Temple", was handed over to the museum for testing by its current owner, enabling experts to analyse the piece. The whereabouts of the piece was unknown for 65 years after it was bought by a private owner in 1961.
