From Global News.
As if Ontarians haven’t dealt with enough snow this winter, another winter storm slammed into the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) on Wednesday.
Plows were called again into action as snow and freezing rain fell in Toronto for much of the day, creating hazardous conditions for commuters on southern Ontario roads.
Hydro One, the provincial utility service, reported about 30 outages and said power was knocked out for roughly 1,600 customers just before 2 p.m. – though it was unclear how many of those were weather related.
Global’s Sean O’Shea reports on the winter weather and the and how authorities are dealing with it.
