Coffee pods are great for a quick cup of joe, but every brew leaves behind the pod, made of plastic and/or metal, to just be discarded in the trash. An Australian designer saw a new use for the leftover pods. Lizzie Burscough says she’s saved 40 thousand coffee pods from landfills by turning them into statement jewelry. It’s just one way she’s trying to find a new life for something that would otherwise be trashed. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
