RCMP are expected to provide an update following Tuesday’s deadly school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C., where 10 people — including the suspected shooter — have died.

Police said multiple victims were found inside the secondary school, with additional victims located at a related residence.

Twenty-seven people were injured and taken to hospital as officers secured the scene and cancelled a public emergency alert.

B.C. Premier David Eby called the attack a “devastating and unimaginable tragedy,” while Prime Minister Mark Carney has expressed his grief as the investigation continues.
