Former US president Bill Clinton and his wife, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, were deposed on 27 and 26 February respectively by the Republican-led House Oversight Committee, which is investigating the sex crimes of Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
The US congressional committee has now released footage from their sworn testimonies. Bill Clinton said he had no knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes but did acknowledge during his deposition that he flew on Epstein’s private plane several times in the early 2000s for Clinton Foundation-related humanitarian work.
Footage of Hillary Clinton was also released. She told the panel that she did not know Epstein.
