An oil spill caused by Russian strikes on Ukraine’s Pivdennyi port left dozens of birds coated in vegetable oil along Odesa’s beaches, local officials said. Zoo director Ihor Biliakov said the spill caused them to ‘lose mobility and freeze very quickly’.
