Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi is in Brussels to discuss how the EU could help to reopen the Rafah border crossing and allow more aid into Gaza. The EU aims to redeploy its border mission, EUBAM Rafah, and needs the approval of Israel and Egypt for the reinstatement.
