In a mission to bolster bilateral economic ties and bring more foreign investment into Canada, Prime Minister Mark Carney established multiple agreements with political and business leaders in Qatar over the weekend.

IT, artificial intelligence and defence were just some of the key investments agreed upon in the capital of Doha, Carney told reporters on Sunday. David Akin reports.

Carney also spoke about regional security matters, including Canada’s decision to join t U.S. President Donald Trump’s “Board of Peace.”

The prime minister said the most important issue with regard to Gaza is making sure there are no “unimpeded humanitarian aid flows."
