Asked Tuesday if he agrees with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen’s statement that a potential U.S. takeover of Greenland – a Danish territory – would mark the end of NATO, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney shared his own thoughts on the future of the Arctic.

“This is one of the issues I’ll be discussing with the [NATO] Secretary-General,” Carney concluded.
