The 2026 Milano-Cortina Paralympic Games have wrapped, with Team Canada bringing home 15 medals. It’s a weaker performance compared to the 25 brought back from Beijing in 2022.

The performance has renewed long-standing calls to better fund Canadian athletes, with Prime Minister Mark Carney hinting of funding changes possibly on the horizon.
