Category 5 Hurricane Melissa barrels toward Jamaica

Jamaica is bracing for Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm that’s expected to be the strongest storm on record to ever hit the island.

Melissa is expected to bring 38 to 76 centimetres of rain across parts of Jamaica, with up to 102 centimetres possible in some areas.
