Closing arguments began Monday in Kouri Richins’ murder trial that has been gripping the nation. Richins’ husband, Eric, was found dead at the family home. A year later, Richins promoted her children’s book about grief on a local tv station before getting arrested in connection with her husband’s death. During the trial, bodycam video was shown, Richins’ former boyfriend testified, the defense wrapped up without calling a witness. After the closing arguments, Richins’ fate will be in the hands of the jury.
