Columbia Student Body President: ‘Active fear’ on campus after DHS detained student

Columbia University neuroscience student Elmina Aghayeva was released from DHS custody after New York City Mayor Mamdani requested she be freed in his meeting with President Trump yesterday. It’s still unclear why she was targeted by agents, although ICE says her student visa was terminated years ago. MS NOW Senior Reporter Josh Einiger has the latest from New York City.
