Comer: Maxwell was a ‘very bad person,’ shouldn’t be granted clemency

In a virtual deposition, the attorney for convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell said his client still sought clemency in exchange for testifying freely.

Committee Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky. told reporters he doesn’t think that Maxwell should be granted any type of immunity or clemency and that after meeting with Epstein survivors it was clear she "was a very bad person."
