Damage from record flooding in Washington state is profound, with more on the way, governor says

More rain, snow, high winds and mudslides are in the forecast in Washington state, after a barrage of storms dumped close to 2 feet of rain in parts of the Cascade Mountains, swelling rivers far beyond their banks and prompting more than 600 rescues.
