The death toll in Gaza is still rising even as the second phase of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas moves forward. Gaza hospitals said Israeli strikes killed at least 12 Palestinians, one of the highest death tolls since the October agreement aimed at stopping the fighting. It comes a day before a border crossing to Egypt is set to open in Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah.
